Surrounding Landscapes

The landscape of Mary Immaculate Center is 460 acres of wooded area, farm land, and well groomed grassy fields.  MIC sits on top of a hill central to the Lehigh Valley, which affords a 360 degree panoramic view of the surrounding lands.  In front of the center down in the valley wines the Lehigh River.  Towards the South and East several miles away are located the towns of Bethlehem and Allentown.  Towards the West and North are the nearby Pocono mountains where an adventurous person would find ski resorts, lakes,  hiking trails and other outdoor attractions.  A short distance from the center is an entrance onto the famous Appalachian Trail which passes through the Lehigh Valley on its route from Maine to Georgia.
